About the Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Position

We are looking for a personable, professional, and energetic person to join our team. You will be the first impression for our patients and will be responsible for greeting every individual kindly and courteously. While experience is preferred, it is not required.

About You

You are the type of person who loves interacting with people. When it comes to your job, you are customer service oriented and enjoy working with our community daily.

You thrive in an environment where you work with a team to enhance the experience of everyone that comes through the door. You are well-organized, a quick learner, and good with computers/technology.

About the Practice

You will be working in a state-of-the-art , private optometry office with a love for caring for our community. We treat patients ranging from pediatrics (little kiddos) to geriatrics (65 and older) and everything in between.

Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Roles and Responsibilities

  • Scheduling appointments
  • Verifying insurance plans
  • Greeting patients
  • Stocking and Inventory
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Answering phone calls
  • Ordering and managing contact lenses
  • Checking patients out at the conclusion of their visit
