Job Purpose:

Our program approach aims to mature, motivate and mobilize young adults to be effective, powerful and purposeful leaders. Through our mission and approach, the Program Coordinator will work with staff to develop, coordinate and execute the objectives of Legacy Leaders programming with the Legacy Fellows Program.

Responsibilities:

• Reports directly to the President
• Maintain effective communication with key partnerships, Fellows, and stakeholders for programming needs
• Assist with the setting up and management of our monthly program sessions and retreat
• Recruit and book guest speakers as needed
• Engage and lead the collection of program fees and participant materials, order equipment when needed
• Maintains attendance for Fellows program and follows up with participants
• Monitor programs and services to ensure they meet stated goals
• Assist with program evaluations and updates to programs and services
• Prepare notes, reports and presentations as required
• Maintain organized records and reports to monitor student progress
• Assist with light research and planning
• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or close to completing an undergraduate program.
• Proven success at administering programs and initiatives as directed
• Possess analytical and problem solving skills for program improvement
• Exceptional verbal, presentation, and listening skills
• Ability to work independently and self-sufficient in managing time and set deadlines
• Effective time management and written communication skills
• Demonstrate consistent maturity and professionalism
• Commitment to presenting themselves in a professional manner with a desire to be fully engaged
• Must have the ability to communicate in a professional and fun way
• Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not mandatory

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
