Hephzibah Children's Association is a social service agency located in Oak Park, IL. There are three programs including residential services for young children, foster care, intact and parenting programs and an after school and summer day care program.

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Program Coordinator in the Day Care program. As a Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various programs and activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families. The Coordinator also acts as a site supervisor for one of the Day Care locations.

Duties:
- Supervise staff and children at an after school location during the school year and on site in the summer camp program.

-Coordinate and manage program activities, including scheduling and logistics.

- Develop and implement program activites and plans
- Ensure compliance with program guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with community partners to enhance program offerings
- Monitor program outcomes and evaluate effectiveness
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed

Skills:

_ Associates or Bachelors degree desired

- Strong behavior management skills to effectively handle challenging situations
- Experience in childcare settings, with knowledge of management techniques
- Ability to provide caregiving support to children with special needs
- Previous experience in childcare desired
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
