Ready to make a difference in the lives of behavioral health patients? Unity Center for Behavioral Health is hiring a Manager of Clinical Operations that oversees our Crisis Intervention Services, Access and Referral and Utilization Management teams. There are two supervisors that support this manager position. We are looking for an experienced leader to take these teams to the next level and create a positive impact for our patients.
Unity Center for Behavioral Health is a 24-hour behavioral and mental health services center located in the greater Portland metropolitan area. We provide immediate psychiatric care and a path to stabilization and recovery for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Unity Center offers mental health treatment to adults and adolescents aged 9 to 17. We also have the only emergency department specifically for behavioral health emergencies in Oregon. The Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) serves adults 18 and older. We believe in a trauma informed approach to assessment and treatment. Provides clinical and administrative leadership to teams who are charged with the provision of comprehensive, patient-centered, quality behavioral health care, in a Trauma Informed and Recovery Centered model of care. Establishes appropriate staffing levels and work assignments for multiple programs, assuring financial/budgetary stewardship and efficient use of resources, and providing appropriate staff development, coaching, and mentoring.
Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other behavioral health field as required by licensure.
Experience: Minimum of four years of clinical experience in behavioral health is required. Minimum of two years of leadership experience required. Experience working in leadership role with clinical specialty areas of Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorder, budget oversight, scheduling, staffing and continuous quality improvement desired. Prior supervisor or manager experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification: LCSW or LPC required. CADC in addition is preferred.
