We are seeking an LPN to work in our Lowndes Mental Health Clinic in Valdosta, GA. The licensed practice nurse (LPN) is responsible for rendering nursing care to adult, child & adolescent consumers in an outpatient setting in terms of individualized client needs, according to dependent and independent nursing functions and in conformance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures, and established standards based on the scope of practical nursing, under the direction/delegation of the registered nurse. Demonstrates basic nursing techniques and procedures following the established medical protocol. Works with medical staff, pharmacy, nursing, and other clinical staff to ensure the highest coordination of services. Assess consumers for mental health needs and fulfill all charting requirements. Completes complex computer-based documentation.
