Overview of the role: Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist
- Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
- Handle accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and collections
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist in month-end and year end close processes
- Monitoring/tracking outstanding account balances
- Managing vendor relationships and resolve billing questions
- Generating past due aging reports to customers
- Submitting regular reports on status of unpaid accounts and any repayment progress.
- General ledger activities including preparing AP and AR related journal entries
Preferred Qualifications: Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus!
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
