The Administrative Supervisor/Flow Coordinator organizes and supervises inter- and intra-departmental activities on designated shifts serving as an active member of the administrative team. The Administrative Supervisor/Flow Coordinator facilitates appropriate patient placement based on clinical need and expedites flow of patients within the facility and overall organization, and is also available to all departments as a resource. The Administrative Supervisor/Flow Coordinator facilitates communication with Administration, departments, and staff. The Administrative Supervisor/Flow Coordinator works closely with Security in providing a safe environment and is responsible for representing the organization to all customers. The Administrative Supervisor/Flow Coordinator allocates available resources and provides direction to promote safe, efficient, effective and compassionate nursing care on a continuous basis. The Administrative Supervisor/Flow Coordinator is responsible for making rounds and ensuring consistent nursing standards guide the provision of nursing care through established standards subscribed by the American Nurses Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
