Quality Inspector
A growing, stable company is looking for a Quality Inspector with previous experience to join the first shift team at their facility in Laconia, NH. You’ll help ensure high quality of our client’s medical devices to make a positive difference in people’s lives. This is a direct hire role with excellent benefits and a collaborative, fast-paced environment!
Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections
- Ensure conformance to specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, and other purchase order requirements
- Utilize mechanical and optical inspection equipment to measure components and devices
- Follow quality procedures, specifications, work instructions, and associated documents in the performance of inspection duties
- Identify and process nonconforming material
- Maintain QMS in accordance with ISO, FDA, and company requirements
- Prepare reports with inspection and testing results
- Provide quality assurance support within the organization as assigned
Qualifications of the Quality Inspector
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of quality assurance experience, or machine operations experience with in-process inspection exposure in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with quality systems documents, blueprint reading, inspection equipment, and sampling plans
- Strong understanding of FDA CFR 820, ISO 13485
- Good organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Good math and computer skills (including MS Office Suite)
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing philosophies
