The League School is seeking High School teacher/Special Ed teacher, High School Math, Earth Science, or Living Environment/Students with Disabilities NYS certified teachers to teach high school courses to special needs students working to earn a high school diploma. The high school classes consist of a maximum of 8 students.

We offer professional development and collaboration with interdisciplinary team on using a trauma informed approach, restorative practices, and DBT strategies.

Education and Qualifications:

BA needed, Masters preferred.

NYS certification in Math Gr 7-12 and/or Students with Disabilities Gr 7-12.

NYS certification in Earth Science, Living Environment, Gr 7-12 and/or Students with Disabilities Gr 7-12.

MA/MS in content area and/or special education.

Qualified candidates must have experience teaching in special education setting, preferably with students with mental health issues.
