Learn what makes QTS a unique place to grow your career! The Manager, Operations Analytics is responsible for enhancing the ability of our operation teams to visualize and act on data. This role works closely with operational leadership to determine requirements, leveraging standardized databases to create and maintain our enterprise operational reporting and visualizations. This role will need to leverage extensive knowledge and experience deriving meaningful insights into operational data – empowering data driven decisions across the portfolio. A major component of this role is to translate data into operational transparency, leveraging stellar communication, prioritization and partnership with business leaders and end users. RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned. Enhance the scalability and performance of facilities operations by providing effective reporting and visualizations. Develop visualizations and reporting according to organizational needs and standard best practice Hire, supervise, and mentor an analytics team Develop procedures to ensure data integrity and quality of the database and reports Prepare and present performance reports to senior leadership Partner with the database team to follow best practices in database management, utilization and data integrity. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 5 or more years of experience in data visualization and reporting Two or more years of experience in a people leader or team lead role Prior experience working with Snowflake and Tableau, or similar database/visualization platforms PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 3 or more years of experience working with Snowflake and/or Tableau KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Integrity – Maintains honest and open relationships with end users. Execution – Completes tasks effectively and efficiently, with little follow up Agility – Able to problem solve to resolve end users challenges and/or project requirements. Strong communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
