Reports to: Director of Sales, Pneumatic Conveying Division
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for the sales of Pneumatic Conveying equipment and services.
As a member of our elite outside sales team you will be working on new capital equipment sales, equipment rebuilds and retrofits, and equipment service opportunities. Key responsibilities will be the management of exsisting customer accounts, establishing new business relationships, providing excellent customer service, educating & training for existing and new customers, and implementing strategies that support LDX Solutions standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Implement sales strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives,
penetrate new markets, and increase cross selling.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential customers.
• Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for
improvement.
• Optimize time management and travel efficiencies to ensure maximized customer
engagement; this includes customer research, appointment setting, and route planning.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts for annual, quarterly, and monthly bookings while
meeting sales metrics that align with the company’s strategic growth goals.
• Present technical sales proposals to top decision makers with a strategic focus on closing
high level or difficult sales.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and other terms of sale with customers and suppliers.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices as they pertain to pneumatic
conveying equipment.
• Attend industry trade shows to identify new business opportunities and make meaningful
contact with potential customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of PC Sales.
• Develop a value proposition that highlights LDX’s unique strengths and benefits to
position the company as the best choice for the project and secure a high
revenue/margin.

• Working knowledge of environmental air regulations from industrial sources.
• Experience with sales budgeting and planning required.
• Effective communicator – to confidently represent the company at customer meetings and industry trade shows. • Experience in the wood products industries is a plus.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or advanced degree preferred.
• 5 years of long cycle consultative industrial equipment sales management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with commercial terms and contract negotiations. • Strong industry technical expertise with application knowledge.
Travel: up to 50% of time
