Position Description:

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in building custom machine learning solutions on cloud platforms, preferably Azure, to create innovative grants solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software development, Python, cloud technologies, and Generative AI. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and transforming grants data, generating training and validation datasets from historical data, working with GenAI models, and developing and deploying custom software solutions that utilize models on Azure OpenAI.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and deploy custom software solutions that leverage public cloud GenAI services such as Azure's OpenAI API services and GCP AI services.
• Represent LCG at webinars and conferences, delivering engaging presentations and participating in panel discussions when necessary to contribute to industry dialogue and thought leadership.
• Showcase AI prototypes and POCs to customers, effectively demonstrating the value and potential of AI solutions tailored to their needs.
• Lead AI training sessions at LCG Corporate and external partners such as Microsoft for our internal staff as well as for our customers and partners, empowering stakeholders to leverage AI technologies effectively.
• Design, develop, and deploy custom software solutions that leverage IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud technologies and platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Integrate custom applications with third-party platforms such as M365 and ServiceNow.
• Develop and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Collaborate with business and technical SMEs to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Work closely with other developers and project managers to ensure timely delivery of software solutions.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues with software applications.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in AI/ML and software development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required.
• 3-5 Years of professional experience in application development.
• Strong experience in software development using languages such as C#, Python, or Java leveraging Azure, or GCP API services.
• Experience or knowledge in building applications that leverage Azure's AI services, including the OpenAI API.
• Strong understanding of machine learning and AI concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Desired Requirements:

• Azure, AWS or GCP developer certifications 

Compensation and Benefits 

The projected compensation range for this position is $93,000 to $125,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
