Abbott Lawrence Academy is looking for a full-time 9th and 10th grade interventionist to work particularly with our freshmen as they transition from up to 16 different middle schools, into Lawrence's Exam High School. Additionally, this position would work with our sophomores and they transition and prepare for AP and Early College courses.Candidate should have experience supporting students with executive functioning skills, the transition to high school, facilitating parent/family meetings, and working with a wide variety of staff members in a small, close-knit community.Special Education license/experience preffered.Abbott Lawrence Academy (ALA) provides equal opportunity to all students in the city, leveling the playing fields for Lawrence students who want to accelerate their learning.
