Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Personal Injury Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our attorneys in handling personal injury cases. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic legal environment. Responsibilities: - Conduct legal research using Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis to gather relevant case law, statutes, and regulations - Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests - Prepare and organize case files, ensuring all necessary documents are included - Interview clients and witnesses to gather information for case preparation - Review medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents - Assist in the preparation of trial exhibits and other materials for court proceedings - Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as needed - Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management system Skills: - Proficient in legal administrative tasks, including file management and document organization - Strong research skills with experience using Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to draft legal documents with attention to detail and accuracy - Familiarity with legal research methods and techniques - Knowledge of personal injury law and the litigation process - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to negotiate settlements with insurance companies on behalf of clients Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies or a related field - Previous experience as a paralegal in personal injury law is preferred - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
