Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Personal Injury Managing Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will oversee and ensure all phases of litigation, from inception to resolution. Your role will involve managing the litigation dept, training, managing the litigation calendar, confirming all deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilites:

• Assist litgation attorneys in creating and implementing procedures and protocols for the litigation dept.
• Monitor and ensure all deadlines are being met by legal staff.
• Managing the litigation calendar and calendaring all statutes.
• Training new legal staff on discovery and litigation procedures.
• Conduct client interviews and maintain contact with clients
• Assist with case evaluation, investigation, and management.
• Perform legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles.
• Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Oversee, organize and maintain case files and evidence.
• Coordinate with medical providers, experts, and other parties involved in cases.
• Monitor Litigation status of all litigation files.
• Assist attorneys during trial preparation and at trial.
• Track settlement status and file minor's comps, notice of settlements, and requests for dismissal with the court.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet all deadlines.
- Bilingual Spanish Speaking Preferred.

Qualifications:

• 2 Personal Injury Litigation Experience.
• Prior Management experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
