WAREHOUSE MANAGER - "The Wizard" IN TEMPE, AZ.

Are you a natural born leader? We are in major growth mode right now and need a brilliant WIZARD to work with our designer's in bringing their vision to life by complimenting the warehouse with a very organized, highly motivated and passionate Warehouse Manager to join the Lavish Interiors team! This position requires someone who has an extreme passion for organization and loves to effectively take standard operating procedures to the next level – we want to create the WOW factor. It’s no small task. Here are a few things we will be looking to you for:

• Manage 1-2 warehouse personnel, outsourced delivery company and overall flow of the 12,000sf warehouse
• Communicate effectively and work side by side with designers and office staff to keep the warehouse and projects running smoothly
• Inventory Control which includes printing labels and tagging inventory items
• Receive incoming shipments. This includes accepting packages, recording damaged shipments, refusing if needed, unpacking, verifying invoices against purchase orders, quality checking, allocating, and providing clear documentation for receiving inventory.
• Assemble, lift, and move products or boxes around the warehouse
• Organize the warehouse product and shelving for maximum efficiency
• Pull, stage and prep all furniture and accessories for all new staging and design projects
• Assist with unloading delivery trucks
• Assist customers with loading furniture
• Going out to job sites for delivering or picking up items
• Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse at all times. This includes sweeping, mopping, and organizing
• Manage warehouse product inventory (boxes, wrap, packing tape, labels, etc.)
• Manage customer pick-up and provide exceptional service
• Drive delivery trucks and/or van locally with a clean driving record
• Always be a team player and take initiative to do what it takes

Above all, you must be a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. You will be working directly with our designer's as part of the design team in this growing segment of our business.

• Furniture Experience is highly desired
• Previous experience with assembling furniture
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to drive a box truck
• Extremely organized and meticulous
• Energetic, proactive, detail-oriented individual
• Must be able to work independently with initiative and self-motivation
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to problem solve
• Work independently

Hours: Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
