We are looking for a skilled Accountant to perform a variety of accounting, human resources and financial tasks. Staff Accountant responsibilities include timely data entry, preparation of reports, verifying account accuracy, and reconciling accounts. Staff accountant will also assist with HR responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
• Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
• Prepare general ledger postings and statements
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
• Provide assistance and support to company personnel
• Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
• Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
• Make recommendations for costs savings and ensure accuracy of invoicing
• Constantly update job knowledge
• Assist in administration of company policies and benefits
• Collect and enter completed new employee information accurately

Skills

• Proven accounting experience
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
• Competency in MS Excel, databases and accounting software
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Data entry and word processing skills
• Well organized, trustworthy, and dependable
• Bachelor’s degree Preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 to $62,500.00 /year

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance or 2 Years of Accounting Experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
