We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative (Hybrid) to join our client's team. You'll be reaching out to mid-market and large enterprise clients, fostering client relationships, and driving sales growth. This is a hybrid role for candidates located in Washington DC, Maryland, or Virginia, with the ability to commute to the office in Falls Church, VA, 3 days a week.

  • KPIs: 5 meetings per week; 50 calls per day, 250 emails per week
Responsibilities:
  • Generate new leads through cold calling (50-100 calls per day), email outreach, LinkedIn, and video messages
  • Deliver excellent customer service, fostering long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Collaborate closely with the cross-functional teams to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and the competitive landscape to identify new sales opportunities
  • Utilize CRM and sales tools to track sales performance, manage pipeline, and maintain client information
  • Actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and industry events to enhance sales skills and knowledge
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team, providing insights on progress and performance

Requirements

Minimum qualifications:
  • 2 years in a BDR or similar hunter role in SaaS sales
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in cold calling, email and LinkedIn outreach 
  • Proficiency in HubSpot, LinkedIn SalesNav, Apollo, Seamless, or similar tools
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in Data Security, Data Privacy Governance software sales
  • Experience selling to CCO, CIO, CISO, Chief Privacy Officer
  • Enterprise sales experience
  • Startup experience
