```Duties:```
- Assist the orthodontist in providing quality orthodontic care to patients
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for orthodontic procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the orthodontist
- Assist with taking impressions and making models of patients' teeth
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software
- Schedule appointments and manage the orthodontist's calendar
- Assist with front desk duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance information
```Qualifications:```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification required
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Experience with dental receptionist duties is a plus
- Proficient in using Eaglesoft or similar dental software for managing patient records
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients of all ages
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
