Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer with expertise in CISCO Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) products. As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing robust network security solutions. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of CISCO ISE and IPS technologies, along with a proven track record in securing complex network infrastructures. This is a 6 month contract to hire and requires a Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions with a focus on CISCO ISE and IPS products.
• Lead the planning and execution of network security projects, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
• Configure and optimize CISCO ISE for authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) services.
• Implement and manage IPS policies to detect and prevent security threats across the network.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network security solutions with other IT infrastructure components.
• Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving network security incidents.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in network security.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the network security team.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to evaluate and recommend new security technologies.
