New Job Opportunity - Senior Network Security Engineer:
New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Washington, DC.Looking to hire an experienced Sr. Network Security Engineer with at least 8 years of prior related professional experience (High level Network Security Engineer / Cybersecurity support experience). We are trying to fill this role within the next 2 weeks.
Logistics of the Role:
- Full Time - 6 Month Contract to Hire
- On Site
Day to Day Activities:
- Configuration, troubleshoot, and manage Cisco Collaboration solutions.
- Researches, evaluates and recommends the selection of network-related tools and emerging technologies for clients.
- Interfacing with end-users for the purpose of designing and implementing network solutions and design recommendations.
- Manage & maintain the network security including firewalls for the organization
- Manage and maintain the incident response and risk assessment
- Work with the manager to play a critical role in all of the IT Security projects throughout the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field
- At least 8 years of experience working as a senior network engineer or related role (High level Cybersecurity, Network Engineer, and support roles).
- IT Company Experience
- Must have experience with Cisco, VMware, and IPS Products
- Network Troubleshooting Experience
- Must have experience with managing VPN
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
