Lasko Products, an industry leader of home environment products for over 100 years, is seeking an Accounting Intern for our West Chester, PA headquarters. The summer internship will run from May 20th through August 16th. 

The Accounting Intern position will assist the team in daily accounting functions while also supporting process improvement initiatives. The position is 40 hours/week, reporting to our Corporate Controller in the West Chester office.

 Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Completed initial Accounting Courses: Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting
• Experienced with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines
• Thrives in a collaborative work environment
• Outstanding multitasking abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail

 Responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliations of cash activity
• Assist with vendor master data validation project
• Support the month end close process through posting of journal entries and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Other relevant projects as assigned
