Description

The Pre Construction Manager will:

• Conducting feasibility studies and site evaluations to assess project viability.
• Collaborating with clients, architects, and engineers to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Providing accurate cost estimates and value engineering solutions to optimize project efficiency.
• Reviewing and analyzing construction documents, including drawings and specifications, to identify potential issues or discrepancies.
• Procuring subcontractor bids and managing the bid process to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other industry partners.
• Leading pre-construction meetings and presentations with clients and project stakeholders to communicate project plans and recommendations.
• Managing the pre-construction phase timeline and deliverables to meet project milestones and deadlines.
• Providing expertise and guidance on construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with project teams to transition smoothly from pre-construction to the construction phase.

Profile

The ideal Pre Construction Manager:

• 6 experience in construction management, with a focus on pre-construction activities.
• Knowledge of construction management software including Procore
• Strong background in conducting feasibility studies, cost estimation, and value engineering.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to develop accurate cost estimates and project schedules.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Knowledgeable about construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
• Leadership qualities, including the ability to mentor and guide team members.
