LOKAL HOMES LLC is Hiring a Construction Manager Near Denver, CO

Summary: 
The general function of a Lokal Homes Construction Manager is to support the day to day activities necessary for success at your assigned residential community. You will meet daily with trade partners, set expectations for the home construction process, adhere to safety requirements / construction schedules / budgets and encourage participation in buyer surveys. The Construction Manager is responsible for delivering an unrivaled customer experience to every Lokal Homes buyer. 
What You Will Do Each Day In This Role:
  • Oversee and manage schedules for construction related activities on the assigned project.
  • Walk your assigned project and all homes daily to understand actual status and schedule compliance.
  • Partner with Sales and Warranty teams to deliver one consistent message to homebuyers.
  • Document all work completed by trade partners and third party inspectors in the company’s schedule tool.
  • Lead homeowner orientations prior to home closing.
  • Deliver clean and complete houses within required time frames set by the company.
  • Safeguard the job site from hazardous situations and material.
  • Supervise the subcontractors to ensure they are meeting expectations of the company.
  • Manage and control all direct and indirect construction expenditures for your project(s).

  • Organizing & Planning: You will have strong organizing and planning skills that allow you to be highly productive and efficient. You will manage your time wisely and effectively prioritize multiple, competing tasks. You will plan, organize, and actively manage meeting for maximum productivity.
  • Problem Solving & Decision Making: You must be able to identify problems, solve them, act decisively, and show good judgment. You will involve others as appropriate and gather information from a variety of sources. You will readily commit to action and make decisions that reflect sound judgment.
  • Team Player: You must be team oriented. You will share resources, respond to requests from other parts of the organization, and support larger legitimate organizational agendas as equal to local or personal goals.
Critical Performance Measurement Areas:
  • Customer Satisfaction – You will be assessed by our buyers through a 3rd party survey on Quality, Meeting Expectations and Communication
  • Cycle Time & EPO Spend – Adherence to our construction schedules and budgets is essential to your community’s success
Required Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of construction related experience with a builder or skilled trade partner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated successful track record of working in complex construction projects
  • Computer literacy to navigate the company’s automated scheduling and communication tools
  • Understanding of blueprint reading and building codes
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Base Salary Range $70,000 to $100,000 plus auto allowance and production bonuses. Excellent benefits including 17 days of PTO per year, Medical, Dental, Vision, Company Paid Disability & Life Insurance and 401k.
