Position SummaryWe are looking for a dynamic individual who has great attention to detail, enjoy working in a fast paced environment, love rolling up their sleeves and tackle challenges head on and take pride in their work, to join our team and help with managing the general ledger, including cash and credit card receipts, cash disbursements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, grants administration and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable on a monthly basis 
• Process general ledger transactions and post entries
• Reclassify inter-company transactions and post entries accordingly 
• Reconcile all credit card purchases to monthly statements 
• Perform all cash account reconciliations for all relevant bank accounts 
• Assists in the annual financial and any other audits as required 
• Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) 
• Input payroll information for payroll vendor on semi-monthly basis as needed 
• Manage vendor relationships and resolution of billing issues 
• Process 1099 forms and other forms relevant to the organization 
• Review and report submissions to all funding partners as required
• Manage ad hoc projects assigned by finance and executive leadership

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance 
• 5 years related experience 
• Grant accounting experience required
• Strong analytical and organizational skills 
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills Google Suite experience required 
• Experience in Quickbooks or similar accounting software required 
• Experience with multi-company accounting preferred 
• Willingness to be flexible and adaptable in a fast­ paced environment 
• Team­ player with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
