Job Summary . Key Responsibilities: •Answer phone calls in a timely manner with focus on converting into a reservation, while following company service standards. •Input group rooming lists and facilitate all rooming list changes and billing •Processes all pick up and pace reporting and attend weekly group meetings •Processes all post group reporting including attrition and commissions to accounting •Maintain group blocks, rooming lists and reservations in system. •Ensure accuracy of room reservations and requests, general inquiries, maintaining group blocks and VIP reservations. •Attend pre-planning and/or pre-conference meetings with clients, as required •Creates Group Booking Links for all call-in groups •Manages group room inventory with aim of maximizing sell-through and revenue •Respond to both internal and external reservation inquiries within 24 hours. •Work with department to complete daily checklist and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately, and assist team as needed. •Know, understand and communicate applicable deposit, guarantee and cancellation policies as requested. •Support Reservations Manager in day to day operation of department, monitor inventory and alert Manager of any urgent demand trends. •Collaborate with various departments to ensure flawless execution and participate in solving problems with other departments. Requirement . Qualifications:
Two-year degree minimum & Hotel experience preferred
One year reservations experience preferred
Knowledge of Excel required; knowledge of Hotel PMS and Delphi preferred
Use non-verbal/visual sources of information, e.g., reference graphs, tables.
Good interpersonal and presentation skills for working with third-party partners and the internal marketing with an executive team.
