We are actively searching for a talented, experienced, and driven Design Build Landscape Designer/Architect, with a proven history of successfully building relationships, creating amazing projects and providing ongoing support to our production team and clients as needed. We foster collaboration, new ideas, and fun.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide high-end residential clients through the entire design process
• Meet with clients to produce designs for residential gardens, foundation plantings and master plans, including hardscape features with clear construction details for crew implementation and renderings to assist in sales process.
• Estimate planting designs and assist sales professionals /project managers in sales process.
• Work with Landscape Project Foreman to layout plants, hardscape and all other aspects of the design build projects.
• Work with project managers to oversee costs and ensure projects are coming in on time and on budget
• Monitor quality of services and work frequently with the field team to teach and train staff on proper installation methods.
• Build new business through client referrals, networking, and collaborating with vendors.
• May include other office/field assignments to meet project/company goals.

Requirements

• A candidate with a degree in Landscape Architecture or similar
• Proven experience in residential garden design, gardening, plant care, plant installation techniques, and a has a thorough knowledge of Middle Tennessee plant material
• Excellent communication skills and ability to direct a team
• Customer service experience
• Thorough knowledge of AutoCAD, preparing, and reading plans
• Familiar with rendering and graphics programs
• Comfortable with CRM/estimating programs (we use Aspire)
• Understanding of efficiency, costs, and time management
• Candidate is enthusiastic, driven, collaborative, business minded

This Monday through Friday career opportunity with The Greathouse Company, LLC offers a generous salary in the $70-$100K range (depending on experience, degree, and architecture license) along with 1% commission on all sold projects and many other company benefits.
