Business Integration Analyst

Responsibilities: Provide integration consulting and business process definition. Responsible for implementing Landis Gyr’s proprietary GridStream Meter Data Management Systems (“MDMS”) and Advance Metering Infrastructure (“AMI”) solutions. Configure MDMS for internal processing to prepare data for CIS (Customer Information System) and data warehouses or data lakes. Test and validate interface data exchanges. Support relationships for data exchanges, including multiple AMI, CIS, portal providers, business architecture companies and OMS (Outage Management Systems). Consult on business process directives and validate partner vendor versioning and alignment of release cycles to maintain interoperability. Test integration interfaces, troubleshoot interface defects, and propose solutions. Manage test environments for internal and external customers, including functional system operation and integration testing. Write system integration planning, configuration and implementation documentation and evaluate complex data business architectures and feasibility of proposed solutions. Support the Quality Assurance team within L G to validate issues from customers. Support client technical teams to develop AMI business integration rules and process flow. Work with customers to define and scope integration and functionality requirements. Participate in response teams for root cause analysis of system problems identified in the deployment of company solutions. Act as liaison to other business units within Landis Gyr, as needed, to resolve and follow through on issues/defects. Up to 20% domestic travel to unanticipated client sites. Remote position.
Salary: $122,500 - $124,000/year
Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or three years experience quality assurance testing.* Experience must include three years each of the following: integration and functional testing; MDMS; XML; work with Multiple CIS and business architectures; Oracle RDBMS and SQL; IEC-CIM 61968 Part 9 and Multispeak standards; SOA enabled integration using web-services and JMS; and conducting methodical root cause analysis and troubleshooting technical issues. Experience may be gained concurrently. Up to 20% domestic travel to unanticipated client sites.
