Will handle up to 5MM of annual spend for the Carlisle, PA facility. May perform projects at other Dairy plants.. Responsibilities: Prepare process designs, equipment specifications and capital estimates for process upgrades, modifications to existing systems and installation / commissioning of new assets. Provide methods, equipment recommendations and standard operating practices to optimize processes and meet product specifications. Facilitate training as necessary. Conduct plant assessments to identify asset deficiencies; execute corrective action as required. Work with plant management / corporate functions on strategic planning involving business growth / innovation, quality improvement, safety, energy and environmental. Remains current on existing and emerging technical advances of equipment, facilities and process controls. Required Experience: 4-year BS degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field. Job requires good technical knowledge and skills along with strategic planning capability. 3 years of experience in engineering or project management in manufacturing. Preferred Experience: 5 years engineering / project management experience in manufacturing in the food industry; solid understanding of manufacturing processes, utilities, systems engineering.
