In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the company's existing systems of control and monitor compliance with corporate systems and procedures by means of periodic testing and review. This position is located at our Arden Hills, MN corporate headquarters (Hybrid work arrangement) Your responsibilities include: Verify the existence of assets and the extent to which they are safeguarded from loss Determine the reliability and effectiveness of reporting systems and management data Audit the application of accounting practices, information systems procedures, and financial and operational policies and procedures Identify, analyze, and prioritize business risks; lead audits; review work performed by audit team members; identify problems and develop solutions Manage audit project timelines; communicate audit project progress timely to appropriate stakeholders Provide appropriate feedback to other staff; communicate findings to management Perform special reviews of operations when requested Assist and supplement the work of the company's independent outside auditors; and perform other duties as assigned Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 2 years of Accounting related experience Willingness to pursue CPA, CIA, CISA, CMA, CFE, MBA, or other professional certification desired Experience in Microsoft Office products Knowledge of the principles, procedures, practices of accounting and financial records and transactions.
