JOB SUMMARY
Deputy Supervisor for Support Staff. In conjunction with the Office Manager, this position provides supervision, training, and direction to the support staff within the District Attorney's office.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
In conjunction with the Officer Manager, processes performance evaluations, payroll, PeopleSoft submissions, and new hire paperwork.
Supervise on-boarding of all new hires in the office relative to administrative/personnel obligations (PeopleSoft, reimbursements, technology)
Ensure effective and efficient management of office filing system and administrative workflow.
Monitor and superintend the biweekly arraignment list to ensure that all cases are received and processed in an appropriate and timely manner.
Serves as Information Security Officer for the Department
Serve as Terminal Agency Coordinator (TAC) Officer for Department as required by FBI Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS)
Backup to Office Manager for administrative needs for Countywide Grand Jury when in session.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Commitment to providing a high level of service to the public, staff, and other members of the criminal justice system.
Advanced level of understanding of the criminal justice system and high level of organizational skills with ability to multi-task and resolve problems effectively and efficiently. Practical knowledge of operational management.
Sharp analytical skills to identify and resolve operational issues and to provide administrative advice to First Assistant DA and DA.
Minimum keyboard requirement of 50 WPM.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/CLEARANCES
Will be subjected to security and background checks.
