Description

Job Summary: Charter bus driver wanted who would be responsible for safely transporting athletic teams and occasionally academic departments to and from their destinations. Evenings and weekends apply as well as occasional overnight stays.

Physical Requirements:

•  Pass required medical exam and random drug testing.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License with passenger endorsement.
• Clean driving record.
• Preferred 2 years’ experience driving a charter bus or similar vehicle.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Driving skills to safely operate a charter bus.
• Navigate through various types of road conditions.
• Ability to obey traffic laws.
• Flexible schedule.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Monitor fuel levels/ refuel bus.
• Assist passengers loading and unloading equipment.
• Help maintain the cleanliness of the bus interior and exterior.
• Report mechanical/ maintenance issues to the transportation coordinator.
