Position Title: Graduate Assistant
Department: Student Affairs
Reports To: Associate Dean or designee
Status: Graduate Assistant (part-time, 10-month)
Contract Dates: August 1, 2024 – May 10, 2025
Hours per Week: 20-25
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, daily with flexible hours for night and weekend responsibilities
Compensation: $9,500 stipend and full LBC I Capital graduate tuition waiver (does not include books and fees)

Education and Experience: Bachelor degree or credits required. Acceptance and enrollment into an LBC graduate program must be completed by the position starting date.
Additional Qualifications: Must have a demonstrated personal and active Biblical faith commitment. Demonstrate proficient leadership, collaboration, communication, adaptability, organization, problem-solving, and administrative skills. Possess a high awareness of emotional intelligence and sensitivity to effectively serve students from diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives.
Summary Description: The Student Affairs Graduate Assistant serves to support the mission of Lancaster Bible College and Student Affairs. This position will provide broad, general support for administration of the Student Affairs Office. Specifically, this will include event support, leadership development, office administration and service to students and parents. The GA will gain an overall understanding of Student Affairs with the opportunity to research independently an area of interest each semester related to Student Development.
May require work on evenings and weekends to support the Student Affairs team members.

Physical Demands: Ability to lift items and carry up to 50lbs as needed. Maintain a valid driver’s license.

All Graduate Assistants must sign the statement of faith as provided by the Human Resources office.
