Job Description:

Oversee eCommerce platform:

• Maintain relationships with E-commerce platform host and middleware provider.
• Direct external developers in solving code issues and adding features to both front and backend.
• Maintain relationships and resolve issues with vertical software providers including order fulfillment/shipping, merchant processing, marketplace integration, sales tax compliance, retail point-of-sale, CRM/customer service, B2B/wholesale, and more.
• Manage E-commerce marketplaces including contract negotiations and platform integrations.

Direct Call Center operations:

• Recruit, train & retain competent Call Center staff.
• Maintain Call Center infrastructure including VOIP phone system, workstations, and ancillary equipment and resources.

Provide IT resource support:

• Collaborate closely with and provide infrastructure support to sales/marketing, retail store operations, and B2B/wholesale with a focus on growing sales and improving profitability.
• Identify and deploy cost-effective tools to increase staff efficiency and communication.
• Provide appropriate KPI data and other reporting to effectively judge the success of sales initiatives & operations.
• Collaborate with Accounting/Finance and Manufacturing/Warehouse Operations to build effective internal systems. Enterprise IT support is provided by a third-party vendor.
• Constantly monitor operations & deployed resources making rapid and informed changes as necessary
• Work with other divisions to recommend significant IT and operational changes/new initiatives to ownership including the presentation of concise analysis with supporting documentation to facilitate timely approvals and implementation.

Work Experience:

● 3 years in a technical support or similar role with a focus on sales related applications diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance, and supervisory experience, preferably within an eCommerce or manufacturing environment.

● Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with third-party technology providers and overseeing multiple operational domains.

● Demonstrated experience in managing internal small teams for sales and customer service support.

● Proven capability in diagnosing and resolving application software issues swiftly to maintain operational continuity and product quality.

Technical Skills:

● Comprehensive knowledge of sales related applications, with proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues.

● Proficiency in managing various operational resources, including retail POS, production, warehousing, accounting, finance, merchant services, and customer service tools.

● Familiarity with specific platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Zapier, Feedonomics, HubSpot, Klaviyo, ShipStation, and VOIP phone systems.

Qualifications:

● Demonstrated problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and supervisory experience, with exceptional attention to detail.

● Strong communication skills, capable of articulating technical problems and solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
