What Youll Do:
Plan, develop, lead, coordinate, and execute human resources strategy to support the Offices operational planning and strategic direction.
Oversee successful processes for talent acquisition, training and development, organizational and performance management, employee engagement and retention, succession planning, and employee relations.
Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends, including reviewing reports and performance metrics from the HRIS and ATS systems.
Research, review, and modify administrative policies and procedures to maintain best practices and compliance.
Collaborate with the Offices management group to understand the organizations goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, retention, and training.
Design, modify, and implement Office-wide training programs.
Supervise, coach, provide feedback to, and evaluate staff responsible for performing human resources and administrative services responsibilities.
What Youll Need:
Bachelors or masters degree in human resources, management, or related field.
Five years of experience in HR management.
Five years of supervisory experience.
PHR or SHRM certification preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Outstanding skills in research, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to the organizations needs.
Ability to make quick and independent decisions, solve problems, and work under pressure.
Strong interest in public service and improving local municipalities.
Willingness to work in-office daily.
