Lakeside Software is Hiring a Solutions Architect Near Dallas, TX

Lakeside Software is a rapidly growing global leader in Digital Experience Monitoring. Our Saas Platform leverages the industry’s most comprehensive database of end point analytics providing real time insights into employee usage patterns to help our customers understand their total IT environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact to the company’s growth. The position will provide the individual an opportunity to positively impact the productivity of end users in an enterprise via a focus on improving the end user’s experience when interacting with their workplace digital tools, i.e., their end user devices. Since most enterprises rely heavily on the efficient functionality of their workplace digital systems, this position will entail a highly visible role with exposure to a variety of enterprise stake holders.

Responsibilities

As a Solutions Architect, you will work closely with the sales team to help qualify and identify pain points in which our solution will be able to resolve. You should be an entrepreneur at heart that has startup experience and enjoys being an active participant in building and growing the company. You will be responsible for identifying the technical requirements within an offering, matching them to Lakeside Software solutions, and accelerating the adoption cycle by positioning and demonstrating market differentiators. You will provide product demonstrations, evaluation proof of values, documentation, and enablement to support the goal. You will be able to talk and explain complicated technical solutions and pitch them at the required level of your audience. This role works closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Support, and additional functions.

  • Ability to troubleshoot & analyze software and systems
  • Ability to assist with revenue generation, including sales target accountability
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work individually and within a highly collaborative team setting
  • Previous experience of the software sales market
  • Previous experience with enterprise level top-tier technical support desirable
  • Previous experience with Channel Partners desirable

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • ITIL knowledge and experience
  • Professional certifications desired in technology like Microsoft, Citrix, and VMware such as MCP, MCSE, MCT, CCA, CCEA, VCP, VCAP, and VCI desirable
  • Experience of transformational outsourcing and understanding of the principles and challenges involved
  • Broad understanding of ICT technologies covering many of the following:
  • Desktop technologies and solutions
  • Windows Server Technologies
  • Virtualization Technologies and Techniques such as server-based computing and desktop virtualization.
  • End user support tools/techniques
  • Understanding of relational databases is a plus, SQL query language and scripting, Microsoft SQL Server, and other related Microsoft Business Intelligence technologies (Reporting Services, Integration Services, Analysis Services)
  • Scripting and PowerShell familiarity is desirable
  • PowerBI skills are desirable
  • Experience with Service Desk tools like ServiceNow is desirable
  • Experience with Cloud technologies is desirable
  • Experience with REST APIs is desirable
