Lakeside School’s Summer School Programs is currently recruiting for a Sports Activity Coordinator for the Investigative Learning Camp, an academic summer camp designed for students entering grades 5-8. The position will be part time. The Sports activity features sports & games stations that campers will rotate through. Stations may include soccer, kickball, volleyball, basketball, spike ball, and other sports & games. This activity runs July 5 – July 29. This activity meets at 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. There will be a mandatory orientation meeting on Thursday, June 30.

All faculty and staff must be fully vaccinated, including a third dose (or booster shot), prior to their first day on campus. They must also submit a negative COVID test prior to the start of the class or program. Tests will be provided by Lakeside School the Friday before the class or program begins for all students, faculty, and staff. Additional COVID tests may be administered periodically throughout the program as needed. In addition to the negative testing requirement, faculty and staff must follow all Lakeside health and safety precautions, which include, but are not limited to, the following:
Compensation and Benefits
The stipend for this position is $1000 per week ($800 for the four-day week of July 5), for a total of $3,800. Lunch is included. The course will only run if enough students register. Enrollment will remain open until June 1. If the number of students enrolled is too small to run by June 1, or if the course is cancelled for any reason, the stipend will not be paid.
