Lake Naomi Club is Hiring a MAINTENANCE LABORER Near Pocono Pines, PA
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years on vehicle mechanics.
- Must possess CDL Class “B” Driver’s License.
- Repair and maintenance of two (2) and four (4) stroke gas engines, diesel engines, transmissions and differential.
- Knowledge of hydraulic pumps, lines and fittings.
- Must possess basic electrical knowledge especially DC current Welding.
- Vast experience on battery operated golf carts.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions.
- Knowledge of light bodywork and painting.
Working conditions
- Work is performed inside and outside with exposure to inclement weather and unpredictable situations.
- Must keep up to date on new technologies
- Attendance at maintenance related seminars/training classes sponsored by Lake Naomi Club is recommended for all personnel.
- Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places, and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risks of electrical shock, and vibration.
Physical requirements/Hazards
- Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats.
- Frequently work with dirty and greasy parts, and in awkward position.
- Often lift heavy parts and tools.
- Minor cuts, burns, and bruises are common, but can usually avoid serious accidents when the shop is kept clean and orderly and safety practices are observed.
- During winter season, occasionally works with and operates snow removal equipment, (plows, cinder spreaders, snow throwers, and shovels) during cold, snowy, icy, slippery, and otherwise extreme weather related conditions. This may lead to fatigue, exhaustion, back injuries from shoveling, frostbite and slips/falls.
