Lake Mariam Health and Rehabilitation Center is Hiring an Unit Manager Near Winter, FL

RN Unit Manager

Summary: Twenty-four-hour responsibility for supervision and the delivery of care and services to residents on their assigned unit.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Meet stated physical and sensory requirements below and must be able to work in the described environment.
  • Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the patient centered customer experience, enhance workflow, and/or improve the work environment.
  • Assist the Director of Nursing with management duties including, but not limited to, hiring, training and developing, coaching and counseling, and terminating department staff, as deemed necessary.

. Ensures completion of assessments of residents at admission, discharge, as necessary and required.

  • Supervise nursing staff on assigned unit(s).
  • Provide clinical oversight and guidance regarding the implementation of the plan of care for residents in compliance with physician’s orders.
  • Ensure nursing policies and procedures are implemented and followed, educating nursing support staff as necessary and according to facility guidelines.

Job Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current state license.
  • One (1) to three (3) years related experience; supervisory experience preferred. Must have a current/active CPR certification.
  • Must be proficient in the use of E.H.R.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with employees and vendors.
