Voyage to Lake Forest!Lake Forest Sailing is a US Sailing Certified Community Sailing Center with a strong focus on youth racing and learn to sail. Our mission at LFS is to provide everything needed for a sailor to become the best they can be while growing the sport within our community.LFS has 11 coach boats, 20 prams, 12 Optis, 5 ILCAs, 4 29ers and a fleet of brand new C420s. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
LFS is looking for a Sailing Assistant who will teach, support, and grow our community sailing programs.Under the direct supervision of the Sailing Program Supervisor, a successful candidate will have the ability to: Lead & grow the summer “Learn to Sail” program, Little Luffers – Pram 2/ 420 SailingDevelop Adult Sailing programs & opportunitiesAdminister watercraft permitsManage operations of Launch Basin, Boating Center, and Boat Storage AreasRecruit & manage summer learn to sail staff, dockhands, and race coachesAssist with planning of regatta, clinic hosting, marketing, & fundraising initiativesOther duties as assignedOnsite Training is Mandatory- Dates and Times TBD
