Liaison Job Description

PURPOSE: Act as the liaison between assigned customers, sales and manufacturing through all phases of production, distribution and invoicing. Facilitate the smooth flow of accurate information (verbal and written) which will result in meeting the customer’s expectations

(quality and service) and supporting the company’s objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide detailed, accurate and timely job specifications to the Job Planning Department and job instructions to the plant via standard forms, memos, email and phone. Develop and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally which will insure that our customers receive superior service. Take a proactive role in monitoring workflow and communicating job status. Maintain a sense of urgency in all of your transactions.

ESSENTIAL TASKS:

· Check purchase order against quote; circulate through routing

· Open and load jobs in Company Database

· Process Job Planning form

· Check progress of jobs on a daily basis

· Process and monitor Prepress

· Issue press/sew and bind instructions

· Issue packaging and labeling

· Issue shipping request (1 week prior to job completion)

· Update status reports weekly

· Reconcile and invoice job within 48 hours of completion

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekends as needed
