Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley, Inc. is searching for an experienced Finance Manager (part-time, 12-16 hours/week) to join its growing team in Madera, CA. This position is responsible for maintaining all financial records and handling the banking needs of the organization including A/R, A/P, account reconciliation, budgeting, cash handling, preparation of financial reports, and ongoing communication with vendors, leadership team and employees. This position will also oversee payroll and other accounting duties as needed. Third-party partnership opportunities will also be considered for this role.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and monitor the annual budget including creating reports for periodic updates to the Board of Directors.
• Partner with the Executive and other Directors on analysis of the financial results to ensure accuracy, explain budget variances, and spark ideas of how to improve operations.
• Review monthly reconciliations, especially bank and credit card.
• Assist in the development of an operational cost forecast for a larger house and other forecast projects.
• Document internal control processes and make improvements if applicable.
• Document a chart of accounts and accounting policies and make changes as needed.
• Keep up to date with RMHC Global policies and ensure our compliance.
• Lead the annual audit process, providing materials to external auditor and serving as the main liaison for RMHCCV.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Minimum seven years of accounting experience, preferably with non-profit organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• CPA license strongly preferred.
• Must be highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles with strong time management and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks.
• Must have ability to work well independently with minimal supervision.

Position offers a competitive salarybetween $55-$65 per hour.
