Registered Nurse - Employee and Family Clinic - Part Time

SUMMARY: This is an urgent care center just for Valley Children’s family - employees, physicians, Board members, EVS staff and their families.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for providing competent nursing care. Responsible for coordination of the patient's plan of care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions that lead to established outcomes. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Valley Children's Hospital policies.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience required and must meet RN II clinical advancement program criteria
• Experience in a family practice clinic highly desirable
• Bilingual skills preferred

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIFICATIONS:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program, Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
• Active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN) required
• HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer into position

POSITION DETAILS: Part time, 40 hours per 2-week pay period, Clinic open Mon-Fri and closed on weekends and holidays
PAY RANGE: $40.00 - $66.20
