labcorp drug development usa is Hiring a Field Reimbursement Manager Near San Diego, CA

LabCorp Drug Development currently provides health care reimbursement support, access education, and access solutions for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical clients with its Market Access Field Team. The Field Reimbursement Manager are client-facing and customer-facing staff who leverage their expertise and experience to assist client customers in understanding and addressing access challenges. They conduct presentations to small and large groups in various settings and often work face to face with providers’ office staff -- educating staff on access services and solutions specific to a product and therapeutic area, and consulting on reimbursement matters. These services play an important role in clients’ customer relationships as they facilitate access to important patient therapies.
LabCorp offers the services of the Market Access Field Team in order to help our clients improve access in the dynamic health care environment. The Field Reimbursement Manager must regularly monitor the changes to nationwide and regional coverage and policy, as they serve as the experts in this area. Up to 80 percent travel is required for the position and will often be dedicated to a specific region of the country. Necessary technology is provided in order to perform the duties required. Field Market Access staff must live in close proximity to a major airport.
  • Implement access services and streamline access processes with customers to optimize distribution to customers after an HCP has ordered an Esperion portfolio drug.
  • Identify customer insights and assist in developing strategies to address challenges or optimize pull through opportunities.
  • Utilize approved customer-facing access and reimbursement materials.
  • Proactively monitor & synthesize syndicated market research and external issues impacting pharmaceutical delivery and reimbursement including industry trends, public policy, and the competitive landscape.
  • Monitor external environment and ensure timely stakeholder (both home office and customer-facing) communications.
  • Follow all business rules applying to Reimbursement Guardrails
  • Engage with customers remotely and in person. Up to 50% travel may be required
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or life science discipline
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation), interpersonal influencing and prioritization skills required
  • Proven learning agility with a high level of motivation and a strong ability to find creative solutions to challenging, unstructured situations
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain trusted relationships with internal partners and external customers, effectively work well in teams
  • Proven ability to understand business requirements, propose solutions, gain alignment and execute plans successfully
  • Ability to successfully prioritize and manage initiatives
  • Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record and be available to drive during the day and nighttime. Must live within a reasonable driving distance from a major airport
Experience
  • 3 years’ experience in Field Reimbursement
  • 3-5 years’ Cardiology experience
  • Understanding of healthcare / payer / access and reimbursement marketplace.
  • Understanding of access and reimbursement of products, including prescription PA support, pharmacy and working implanting these programs with field sales team
  • Experience working with HUBs, retail and specialty pharmacies
