Position SummaryThe Senior Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating the various services, policies, and programs of the Human Resources department and will partner with business leadership on all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
This role is remote for applicants in Il and Pa. Essential Duties
  • Demonstrated subject knowledge of HR functions, regulations, processes, policies and guidelines with a demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders to develop innovative and workable solutions
  • Integral part of the planning, implementation, communication, and administration of human resources programs, policies, and practices
  • Provides support by working with business leadership on all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruiting and onboarding, employee recognition and evaluation, professional development, employee relations, separation processes, and more
  • Leverage data and HR acumen to influence action, support decision-making, and root cause assessments
  • Manages policy implementation to ensure a positive experience for employees and managers
  • Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
  • Provides support and guidance when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; required to administer and execute disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations as needed
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance and updates the Employee handbook as needed.
  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Provides timely and thorough customer service by answering employee and management requests and questions
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • 8 years of experience in Human Resources or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or equivalent
  • Ability to maintain a positive approach and be a strong advocate of company-driven initiatives and values
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
  • Excellent skills in judgment and ability to respect, protect, and maintain highly confidential information; discreet
  • Attention to detail that demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness resulting in a quality work product
  • Strong work ethic that includes dedication and consistently being at work and on time
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to present data and interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Experience with ATS systems preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
