Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu
- Upsell additional items or specials to enhance the guest experience
- Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
- Assist with food preparation as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a positive manner
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with cash register operation and basic math skills for handling payments
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety procedures is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
