L0105 Lithia Home Office is Hiring a Remote Dealer Services Specialist

Dealership: L0105 Lithia Home Office Dealer Services Specialist The Dealer Services Specialist has a wide-range of support functions across the Lithia Motors, Inc company. The position will support the dealership network with the facilitation of the following: local and state licensing/compliance matters, dealership management updates, and knowledge of regulatory automotive franchise laws, to name a few. This position also requires tracking, auditing, and updating all corporate and automotive dealership records. This support position will collaborate with a variety of other Lithia Departments, both internally and externally as well as maintaining relationships and working with other outside business partners. The Dealer Services Specialist reports to Dealer Services Manager. Location: Medford, OR or Remote, USA (PST preferred) Compensation Range: $19/hr - $24.50/hr Responsibilities Research laws/regulations to complete required paperwork to obtain licenses and maintain compliance with city and state licensing requirements: i.e. acquisitions; divestitures; relocations; name; officer; line/make, and GM changes; etc. In charge of maintenance of an Excel spreadsheet of all licenses. Responsible for processing all license renewal applications to assure timely renewal before license expiration Bonds: Responsible for the initial ordering and accuracy of bonds necessary for licensing applications Complete General Manager changes, with knowledge and understanding of each manufacturer’s requirements Coordinate, review, and approve all applications and additional documents submitted by the General Manager candidates prior to submittal to manufacturers Communicate and coordinate with manufacturer representatives regarding approval status of General Manager Candidates Responsible for the development and maintenance of a spreadsheet(s) to monitor all General Manager changes Assisting in the completion of detailed franchise applications required by the various manufacturers as the result of acquisitions of new stores or renewal of existing franchise agreements Maintaining a level of consistent communication with manufacturer representatives in regards to their requests for information associated with franchise agreements and application packages Developing and maintaining relationships with third party dealers during acquisitions and divestures process Copying and filing of all documents on an accurate and timely basis as required by management In charge of development and maintenance of an Excel database of all legal entities and trade names (dba’s) Working with upper management to complete assigned tasks that are given Supporting other internal & external Lithia departments with questions and issues that may arise Skills and Qualifications Strong attention to detail Sense of urgency Excellent communication Time Management Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business or related field Experience in Administrative Licensing/Compliance Experience in automotive industry Competencies Does the right thing, takes action and adapts to change Self-motivates, believes in accountability, focuses on results, makes plans and follows through Believes in humility, shares best practices, desires to keep learning, measures performance and adapts to improve results Thrives on a team, stays positive, lives our values Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.* Up to 1/3 of time: standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds Up to 2/3 of time: sitting, kneeling, reaching, talking, hearing *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.
