Dealership: L0105 Lithia Home Office Supervisor, Accounting Quality, North America The Supervisor, Accounting Quality plans and executes North American store reviews and consolidated risk based analytical review procedures. The Supervisor leads, both in the field and as part of quarterly consolidated reviews, other members of the Accounting Quality Team reviewing store compliance with dealership accounting policies, US GAAP, and other regulations. Reporting to the Manager, Accounting Quality, the Supervisor plays a key role in developing and driving initiatives to maintain quality and consistency in financial reporting across Lithia’s North American Network. Responsibilities Maintaining advanced knowledge of Lithia’s accounting policy manual, auditing techniques, and US GAAP Performing risk assessment, proposing scope of business processes and stores for testing Developing procedures to test store compliance with policies, procedures, manufacturer requirements and US GAAP Leading team members while executing the Accounting Quality Store Review plan, reviewing conclusions of staff and senior accountants, preparing reporting for assigned store reviews Tracking and reporting on remediation efforts Serving as a coach and mentor for a team of two to three staff and senior accountants Tracking budget versus actual and troubleshooting delays and overruns Collaborating effectively by proactively seeking input from relevant resources and consulting with colleagues to ensure scope of testing and testing conclusions are appropriate Developing and maintaining a positive, productive, collaborative professional relationship with Store and Home Office Personnel Participating in other cross-departmental initiatives as needed Skills and Qualifications Strong attention to detail, communication skills, time management and project management skills History of maintaining composure and delivering results consistently when performing field work Proven track record of successfully leading a team against deadlines, motivating personnel and retaining staff Experience with cross departmental collaboration in performing work Data analysis and ability to leverage technology, proficiency in data manipulation, intermediate skills in Excel Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Data Analytics preferred, relevant work experience in dealership accounting or general accounting considered in lieu of a degree 4 years of relevant experience, public accounting and CPA, CIA, or CISA designations a plus Working knowledge of Alteryx, data warehouses, and Automotive/Dealership Industry a plus Willingness to travel 25-50% of work hours Preferred Locations Medford, OR Tigard, OR Eugene, OR Dallas, TX Calabasas, CA Tampa, FL Detroit, MI South Amboy, NJ We offer best in class industry benefits: Competitive pay Medical, Dental and Vision Plans Paid Holidays & PTO Short and Long-Term Disability Paid Life Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Employee Stock Purchase Plan Lithia Learning Center Vehicle Purchase Discounts Wellness Programs High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
