Responsibilities:

1. Maintain Organization: Ensure the kitchen and preparation stations are consistently set up and well-stocked, contributing to the seamless flow of operations.

2. Food Preparation Support: Assist in the preparation of simple components for each dish on the menu, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.

3. Communication and Collaboration: Report to the executive chef, follow instructions diligently, and collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to uphold culinary standards.

4. Sanitation Standards: Guarantee that food preparation and storage areas adhere to health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace.

5. Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels and supplies, facilitating a smooth workflow in the kitchen.

6. Assist in Cooking: Work alongside kitchen staff to cook menu items, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of meal preparation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar steward role.
• In-depth knowledge of kitchen best practices and food handling methods.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong multitasking abilities.
• Cooperative and efficient team player.
• Experience working in busy restaurant environments
