The Senior Code Enforcement Officer is responsible for performing enforcement, inspection, and review of municipal codes and ordinances, including commercial projects. Teamwork is vital to our success, and you will be surrounded by a group of professional experienced municipal officials. This position must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as they often interact with property owners, tenants, and other relevant parties in order to resolve issues and enforce compliance. They must also be knowledgeable about relevant codes and regulations, and able to interpret and apply them effectively. Routine duties result in a combination of office and field work. Overall, the role of a code enforcement officer is critical to maintaining safe and healthy communities and requires a strong commitment to upholding public safety and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Pay: $25.94 - $31.24 per hour
